This was the part that I thought I might not actually be able to do. It requires a little more skill and as you have seen from viewing my blog I am a "wing it" sort of girl.I defiantly don't do things perfectly, thank goodness for distressing!!
I am sure however, that my family is going to USE this and so perfection just gets dings and dents.
I will now do a little sanding to get it ready for paint, I will paint, and then it will be time for varnish. I have to do the board, the blocks, and the table.
Oh, and lets not forget that I have 5 inch round pieces on the way to make my checkers! So exciting.
To look at it now, it seems that I might even have it actually finished for Christmas!
